To trade or sell your in-game items on DMarket, you first need to transfer them to your DMarket inventory by trading with DMarket bot.
Note: You can only deposit items during the trade or sell process - item transfer cannot be done separately.
In order to make your Steam items visible in your DMarket inventory and then upload them to DMarket for trading purposes, you need to set up your account first:
- Click on your profile picture and select account settings (see Fig.1).

- Click on the “Steam account” option (see Fig.2).

- Click the “Connect Steam account“ button (see Fig.3). You can connect to only one Steam account at the same time.

- Enter your Steam credentials and click on the “Sign In” button (see Fig.4).

After your Steam account is connected, you also need to set up the Steam Trade URL to be able to deposit or withdraw any items.
- Open DMarket account settings, go to "Steam account", select "Set up" opposite to "Trade URL" and click on the “Get trade URL” link (see Fig.5)

- Copy your Trade URL on Steam (Fig 6).

- Paste your Trade URL on DMarket and click the “Save” button (see Fig.7).

Done! Your account is set and you can start trading.
To deposit an item, initiate an exchange or sale click the “Accept trade on Steam” button (see Fig.8) and confirm the trade on Steam within 10 minutes. After the trade is complete, your item will be deposited to DMarket and the exchange/sale will be completed.

⚠️ During the deposit process, the DMarket bot will not give an item in return as part of exchange. First, the item is deposited to your DMarket inventory, and then the exchange is completed on the platform.
