Tradable balance is a special kind of balance composed of funds obtained through any of the following means:
- Selling a CS2 item under Trade Protection normally, using the "Sell" option;
- Selling a CS2 item under Trade Protection instantly, using the "Sell Now" option;
- Trading a CS2 item under Trade Protection for an item of lower value, and receiving excess funds from the trade.
"Tradable balance" funds may be used on the platform for further purchases of CS2 items from the Market right after the trade is performed — no need to wait for the Trade Protection to end.
Please note that while their respective Trade Protection is still active, the following rules apply to the funds from Tradable balance:
- Tradable balance can be used only for the purchase of CS2 items — items from other games cannot be purchased with these funds.
- Tradable balance can be used only for the purchase of items from the Market — Target purchases cannot be performed with these funds.
- Tradable balance cannot be withdrawn until its respective Trade Protection has ended. If you wish to withdraw these funds without purchasing any CS2 items, you may have to wait for the Trade Protection of all associated items to end.
- Tradable balance will be used at the lowest priority for any transaction, including further purchases of CS2 items. If you have other types of balance (such as regular "Balance"), those other types of funds will be used first, and "Tradable balance" funds will be used only after all other types of balance are fully exhausted.
